THE Cheese & Grain will host its first fun dog show this Sunday, 21st January, to raise money for charity.
To celebrate dogs and responsible ownership, the event will see 19 fun and novelty classes for dogs of all ages, shapes and sizes to compete in.
The categories are:
Pedigree fun classes:
1. Best Puppy – any breed (6-12mths). 2. Gundog – any breed. 3. Hound & Terrier – any breed. 4.Toy & Utility – any breed. 5. Any variety – open
Novelty classes
7. Best veteran. 8. Best crossbreed
9. Best rescue dog. 10. Most handsome dog. 11. Prettiest bitch. 12. Most appealing eyes. 13. Waggiest tail. 14. Best condition. 15. Best matching brace. 16. Best junior handler. 17. Dog most like owner. 18. Best fancy dress. 19. Dog the judge would like to take home
All classes cost £2 to enter.
For the event, Frome K9 have put together a dynamic and entertaining dog display team to show off the fun things you can train dogs to do.
There will also be several trade stalls and advice for owners to enjoy. Willow Vale Photography will be also be in attendance with a studio set up for those wanting a professional portrait of their pet.
The event will raise funds for both the Blue Cross and the Cheese & Grain charity. The event starts at 10am and runs until 3pm. Admission is £1 and free to children. You’d be barking mad to miss it!
