Frome Friends have had another good year of fundraising.
They have held bucket collections, a bingo night, raffled a Mulberry bag at the midnight walk, assisted at the jazz, sausage and mash lunch at Winsley and served refreshments after the light up a life service in Frome.
Alison Aldous, on behalf of Frome Friends said, “We would like to thank all the organisations that have donated prizes and produce throughout the year. We also had a successful recruitment drive for new members to help us with our fundraising events; new members are always welcome to join us.
“We will be starting 2014 by holding a soup and pud event at East Woodlands Hall between 12.00 noon and 2.30pm on 18th January, and on 25th January there will be a coffee morning between 10.00am and 12.00 noon at The Chapel, High Street in Rode.
“Since starting the group in 2009 we have raised over £22000.”
