Frome in Bloom will hold its annual plant sale in conjunction with Frome Selwood Horticultural Association on Saturday May 27th at Selwood Academy, Berkley Road, Frome.
“Doors open 9 am; come early, some things sell out very quickly!” said Valerie Norvall, the FIB press officer.
“The FIB annual gardens competition (and all things related!) will soon be underway and entry forms are available at Frome Town Hall, Frome Library and the plant sale.
“There are many different categories to choose from a single hanging basket to an allotment or a large garden; even a water feature may be selected.
“We are really hoping that the shop window class will be better supported this year. Any shop or office window where there is space to display something wonderful may be entered. The theme for this category ONLY is the Coronation. This class will be judged in the week of 10th to the 15th of July. Any materials may be used; it doesn’t have to be floral.
“So please Frome, get blooming and we’ll see you first at the plant sale.”
