Rotary International has been involved with dedicated global Polio eradication since 1985; overall the annual number of Polio cases has plummeted by more than 99% since the 1980’s.
Rotary is a global humanitarian organisation with more than 1.2 million members in 34,000 Rotary Clubs in over 200 countries, and this coming Saturday, 25th October, the Rotary Club of Frome will be looking for the support from the community in and around Frome for their annual bucket collection; the Bill Gates Foundation is a huge worldwide supporter of Polio eradication, and for every £1.00 collected by members of Rotary the Bill Gates Foundation will add another £2.00.
Rotary members will be stationed in the town centre of Frome and they hope that they can rely on you to give generously.
