Local railway enthusiast Francis Bourgeois recently attended a new social group for people with a shared interest in trains.
Francis is famed for his enthusiastic videos on social media about trains. He recently attended the Trains Connect social group at the Cheese and Grain to meet with other railway enthusiasts and enjoyed chatting with the group.
Organisers say, “Trains Connect is as much about people and connection as it is about trains. There is no need to be a railway expert. People can come along, share their interests and stories, meet others or simply enjoy listening and being part of the group.”
The group meets on the second Friday of every month and is open to anyone who enjoys trains, railways or simply fancies meeting other people for a chat.
The next meeting will take place on Friday 11th September from 10.30am to 12pm. Everyone is welcome.
