THE daughter of PAC’s founder, Jill Miller has just raised over Ј2,500 for PAC.
Charlotte Miller shaved off her long hair on Sunday 28th April in support of Frome based charity Positive Action on Cancer.
Charlotte asked friends and family to sponsor her and has raised just over £2,500 for PAC. She also supported the Little Princess Trust by donating them her hair.
Charlotte told PAC fundraiser Kelly Hall how she wanted to thank everyone who had supported her and how she was overwhelmed by the support she had received.
Kelly Hall, fundraiser at PAC said, “Charlotte has done a fantastic thing for PAC and we would like to thank her and everyone who pledged sponsorship. The before and after photos are amazing and I really think this was a brave challenge to undertake. The money raised will provide over 50 counselling sessions here in Frome over the coming months.”
PAC is currently the only organisation to offer free, professional counselling to any adults or children affected or bereaved by cancer and other life threatening illnesses in BANES, Somerset and West Wilts.
