A Valentine’s afternoon tea is being held on Saturday 9th February to raise money for local man, Benjamin Millard, who has been diagnosed with terminal bowel cancer.
Friends and family of Benjamin have started The Bowel Movement, a fundraising group to help raise money to give Benjamin ‘Avastin’ , a drug that will help control the cancer and hopefully give him a prolonged life. It costs £2,100 to administer every two to three weeks and is not available on the NHS. So far, they have raised over £30,000.
The team invite you along to a Valentine’s afternoon tea at Frome Town Football club on Saturday 9th February from 2pm-4pm. The afternoon will also feature guest singer, Tom Carpenter performing as Michael Bublé.
Tickets are £15 per person and available from Josephine Millard on 07849 734307. Tickets must be booked and paid for by Thursday 31st January.
All proceeds will go to The Bowel Movement in aid of Benjamin Millard. To donate or to read more about his story visit: https://uk.gofundme.com/ the-bowel-movement.
