LOCAL artist, Kristin Vincent, has donated one of her paintings to Frome Community Hospital to say thank you and celebrate the work done by everyone at Frome Hospital.
Kristin said, “Over many years I’ve had the privilege of meeting many doctors and nurses in the NHS.
“My donation to Frome Community Hospital has been my largest so far and I would like to say a huge thank you to all those that have helped me in one way or another, and for letting me give back through sharing.
“My husband Ian, has been tremendous helping to keep some of the costs down by making the beautiful frames for my work. Studio Prints in Frome also deserve a mention because they too were generous in supporting this project for the hospital”
Melissa Book, an administrator at Frome Hospital, said everyone at the hospital was very grateful to Kristin for the donation of her beautiful artwork.
“Kristin provided five lovely pictures for the ward last year and then approached us again to display some more,” she said.
“We now have eight paintings in our outpatients department and another three on the ward, as well as the largest one which can be found in the reception waiting area.
“All the pictures have brought colour and interest to blank walls and will be there for all to enjoy, for years to come.”
