A Glastonbury Festival Exhibition is to be held at the Silk Mill Studios, Merchants Barton Saxonvale Frome (BA11 1PT) next month – Silk millstudios.co.uk
The opening evening is Friday 19th September from 6.00pm. There will be a cocktail bar and café with delicious tapas and indian food for the weekend and for the opening evening music by Honkmonster. Free event.
From Friday 19th September until 5th October there will be an opportunity to see etchings, lithography, drawings and paintings by Annemarie Blake capturing the energy and atmosphere of the Glastonbury Festival 2013 and 2014. This exhibition is supported by WaterAid and a percentage of proceeds go towards this international charity.
Annemarie has a good eye for capturing ‘moments in time’ Her work evokes mood and atmosphere picking up on interesting details of the festivals vibrancy, its people, cafés, food stalls, and a general narrative of what caught her eye.
