The annual Mayor’s Spring Charity Fair is at the Cheese & Grain in Frome this coming Saturday, 20th March. The fair provides a forum for local church groups, charities and other groups and societies to raise those all-important funds for their own individual causes and has once again been given the support of the Mayor of Frome, cllr Damon Hooton, and the Deputy Mayor, cllr Helen Sprawson-White, who will both be present at the fair.
The fair runs from 9.30am until 3.00pm and admission is free. There promises to be an interesting mix of charities and fund raising groups taking part, with an array of bric-a-brac and hand made goods to purchase, and tombolas and raffles to take part in.
The organisers say, “Please come along and support the hard working volunteers of our local charities in their efforts to raise funds for good causes.”
