A Frome teenager is organising a charity cycle ride, from Frome to Bath and back, all in aid of Help for Heroes.
13-year-old Jordan Ryan is inviting people to join him in the 36.8 mile ride, which will be taking place on Sunday 4th July.
Jordan, who is a cadet in Coleford, told the Frome Times, “I am quite a keen cyclist anyway and I thought it would be a challenge to cycle to Bath and back – so why not raise some money at the same time?
“I have so far managed to get some staff on board from Farleigh College, in Mells, where I study, as well as family.
“It will cost £5 to register and all the money will go to Help for Heroes. Everybody who takes part is also invited to raise money through sponsorships.”
