The 35 elderly residents of Frome who accepted the invitation of the Lions Club of Frome to join them for supper and entertainment recently had a last minute surprise.
They were expecting to meet at Trinity Hall but unfortunately the boiler broke down and the venue had to be changed to East Woodlands Village Hall. This meant a re-assessment of the transport arrangements so no one was left behind.
After an excellent supper prepared by the Lions’ Ladies the guests were entrained by Chiff Chaff.
It seems one of the guests left behind a blue/green lightweight coat. If the owner contacts Lion Roger Windley on 01373 467196 it can be reunited with its owner.
