The Cheese and Grain has a new-look market, The Magpie Market, which starts on Sunday 6th March from 10am – 3pm.
The theme for the market is beautiful things. There will be stalls that feature crafts, as well as contemporary and vintage items including decorative homeware and gifts. There will be art, jewellery and fashion and also soaps, candles and aromatherapies. You can also expect to find some tasty treats. With live music to enjoy on the terrace, don’t miss the launch of this exciting new market.
Shops on Catherine Hill will also be open, so make sure you pay them a visit for a perfect Mother’s Day shopping treat.
Admission is free and it will continue on the first Sunday of each month.
In April, the monthly Antiques & Collectors market will be getting a new look and a new name.
This will be in memory of Derek Maguire who for many years ran markets at the Cheese and Grain and sadly died in January.
Mr M’s Emporium will be an eclectic mix of collectables, vintage and antiques. There will be lots of new stallholders bringing along interesting and exciting items including vintage clothing and accessories.
Come along to the launch on Saturday 2nd April 9am – 3pm where there will be live music and a free raffle. Admission is free and will continue on the first Saturday of each month.
