THOUSANDS of people packed out the town centre at the weekend as the new Frome Super-Market got under way.
The first ever Super-Market was a joint initiative from Mendip District Council’s Frome People’s Market, Frome Town Council, the St Catherine’s Artisan Market and Frome Flea, transforming the centre of Frome into a hubbub of market stalls on Sunday 1st of July.
A variety of locally-produced food, craft creations, vintage items, with quirky gifts and treats were all on offer.
Two further Super-Markets have already been given the go-ahead on Sunday 5th of August and Sunday 2nd of September.
