A series of free family playdays will be held at Brunel Green every Tuesday in August from 1pm to 3pm.
Frome Town Council is hosting the playdays as part of a programme of summer drop-in events, supported by local organisations Super Roots and Caravan Arts.
Residents are encouraged to come along to enjoy the activities and share their thoughts about how the space could be improved.
Other free sessions in the programme include a chance to spot as much wildlife as possible using iNaturalist, a community bat count and a ‘Brunch on Brunel Green’ event in September.
Cllr Anita Collier said, “Bring the whole family to the green to enjoy lots of opportunities for creative play and adventure. Relax in a hammock, test your balance on a slackline, get crafty and take part in some exciting challenges, or simply enjoy the space for what it is.
“These sessions are a good opportunity to get outdoors this August and to let us know your thoughts about how you’d like to use Brunel Green in the future.”
The free drop-in sessions are part of Frome Town Council’s summer programme at Brunel Green, with council staff on hand to observe how the green is used and discuss ideas for its future.
Residents who are unable to attend can share their thoughts through My Frome, Frome Town Council’s digital engagement platform.
