A family quiz night is being held on 10th October in the main hall at Frome College, organised by family support charity, Purple Elephant.
The quiz will run from 5.30pm to 7pm and welcomes teams of up to six people of any age at £10 per team, payable at the door. People are encouraged to register their team ahead of the event. However, walk-ups will, of course, also be warmly welcomed by the organisers too.
Purple Elephant provides holiday activities, pre-school parent support, a youth club, a befriending service and the popular annual Children’s Festival.
Purple Elephant’s Service Manager, Sue Willis, said, “We try to ensure most of what we do is about the family having fun together, so our first fundraising quiz night is no exception. It will start at 5.30pm, so no need for a babysitter as this evening is open to all to come along.”
As well as the quiz, with prizes for, the winning team and a ‘wooden spoon’ for the losers, there will be refreshments to buy, a raffle and even games for all to take part in in-between quiz rounds, plus a selection of toys for the youngest to play with alongside their parents and carers, if sitting still and joining in is not their thing.
