DOROTHY House invites local people to come to its annual Light up a Life Service to remember loved ones at Christmas.
This year, the Frome service at Holy Trinity Church is at 6pm on Wednesday 1st December and has the added magic of the beautiful voices of the Memorial Theatre Group who continue to generously donate their time.
The service will be around 45 minutes long and features Christmas carols and readings. There is also an opportunity to remember loved ones.
The Frome service is one of eight running between 21st November to 9th December across Bath, Somerset and Wiltshire.
These seasonal services of remembrance are part of the annual Dorothy House ‘Light up a Life’ Appeal. Last year this vital appeal helped the Hospice raise almost £54,000 towards providing free, palliative and end of life care to local communities in Bath and North-East Somerset, Wiltshire and Somerset. It is hoped the 2021 ‘Light up a Life’ Appeal will once again raise this amount or more to support the important work of the Hospice.
