Despite both sides taking the lead in this match, neither proved able to hang onto that lead for more than a couple of minutes, and in the end, the 2-2 draw was probably a fair result between two evenly matched sides.
In the end, it was a welcome away point for Frome in a season where they have been hard to come by.
The first goal arrived in the 12th minute as Frome failed to clear their lines following a free kick, allowing Bajram Pashaj to square the ball to Anthony Mendy, for an easy tap in at the far post. But Frome equalised almost straight from the kick-off as a long ball found its way to Kane Simpson, who did well to outpace the defenders and slide the ball into the net after rounding Ravan Constable.
Inverse symmetry seemed to be the order of the day in the second half, as Beaconsfield failed to clear their lines, allowing Billy Fletcher to hammer home a low 20-yarder in the 62nd minute, only for substitute Brendan Matthew to latch onto a long ball two minutes later and fire home after rounding James Carey to make it 2-2, and neither side really looked like winning it from then on.
