GET ready with your hessian bags and boxes, as the Frome Selwood Horticulture Society along with Frome in Bloom, are hosting their annual Plant Sale at Selwood Academy, Berkley Road, Frome, BA11 2EF, on Saturday 27th May. Doors open 09:30am.
Organisers said, “Along with tables full of annuals, perennials and vegetables there will be plenty of homemade produce with cakes and jams galore. Garden books and bric and bac from the garage is a favourite but please bring cash. Card sales will not be available.
“Frome is well served for gardening interest groups, and this annual event is a showcase for two of the oldest and most established, the Frome Selwood Horticulture Society which was founded in 1966 and the Frome in Bloom, founded in 1977 with its annual awards for planting in homes, businesses and open spaces.
“So, to all plant lovers, come and join in the morning and capture what has kept these two gardening groups growing, and don’t forget to bring your own bags and cash! There is good parking and a small entry donation.”
