Steiner Academy raises money for Syrian refugees

Teachers, members of staff and parents pooled their talents to perform a medieval Christmas play at Steiner Academy Frome on Thursday the 15th December.

Audience donations raised over £300 to help welcome Syrian refugees, on the day the Aleppo evacuation finally began.

“It’s a drop in the ocean of what’s needed,” one cast member said. “But it was a heartfelt and generous response from a lovely audience.”
