A LOCAL charity wants to hear from anyone who works creatively within the disabled community in Frome.
You might be an artist, writer, poet or a musician with a disability, you might run a creative group for people with disabilities, you might even be interested in using your creativity and skills to work in this area and want to find out more.
Openstorytellers are hosting The Big Mix: Frome’s Big Disability Diversity Day at the Hub Nub centre on Sunday 29th October, a celebration of the diversity and creativity within Frome’s disabled community. They would like to invite anyone who wants to be a part of it to get in touch.
The Big Mix will be open to the public and will host music, drama and storytelling performances, stalls, art exhibitions, creative workshops, film premiers, book readings and signings and lots of other fun and entertainment.
Ben Waller of Openstorytellers says “The Big Mix is set to be a great day, it’s a chance for the whole of Frome to come and see what an amazingly diverse and creative contribution the disabled community make in this town. I’m very excited to be putting this together with Openstorytellers and we already have some phenomenal performances, guests and artists due to be here. Watch this space to find out more!”
