A Town crier fun quiz will be held at Frome cricket ground on Friday 13th September at 8pm. The cost is £2.50 per person, with teams of up to six.
Frome Town Crier, Mike Bishop, has announced that the town crier festival will be smaller from 2020, but he and his committee still need to raise about £600 to put on the smaller festival.
To raise funds they will be holding one of their very popular quiz nights on Friday 13th September. They intend to hold six during the year so need to raise at least £100 per quiz.
Organisers say, “If you wish to see the festival carry on, please come along and support Mike and his hard working team raise the funds to be able to continue to bring such colour and enjoyment to Frome.”
