Did you play tennis some time ago, and want to get back into it, or never played before and want to give it a go?
Frome Selwood Tennis Club say, “Come and try our two-bounce tennis programme – it’s completely free.
“The idea of two-bounce tennis is to encourage people who have not played tennis before or who are rusty, to come and enjoy the game for free for six weeks. The sessions are aimed at the over-35s who have not played tennis before or for a long time. More experienced players will be welcome to play normal (one-bounce) tennis, depending on the make-up of the class. Younger people will be accommodated if space allows.
“If you enjoy the course, then you will be welcome to join the club at a promotional rate.
“The course starts on Wednesday 6th November, every Wednesday for six weeks, 10.30am – 12noon, at Frome Selwood Tennis Club, Somerset Road, Frome, BA11 1HB
“There will be tennis and games throughout the sessions, with a break for cake and coffee or tea!
John Price, (development officer for the club) said, “This is a great opportunity to start tennis again, make some new friends and gain some fitness.”
