We Hear You (formerly Positive Action on Cancer) has been shortlisted to be Sainsbury’s Frome Charity of the Year.
The local charity is one of three charities that has been shortlisted and the winner will be chosen by a public vote.
Partnerships with local businesses are vital to enable We Hear You to provide support to children and adults affected by cancer and life threatening conditions in the local community. These partnerships not only provide essential fundraising but also the opportunity to raise awareness of the service.
Gemma Wilkes, fundraiser said, “We are delighted to be shortlisted for Sainsbury’s Charity of the Year. Frome is our home town and we have been supporting the community for over 20 years. It would be a fantastic local partnership for the charity. It’s all down to the public to vote for us now.”
