Wessex Model Railway Exhibition.
Saturday 7th January at 10am and Sunday 8th January at 10am to 4pm. Tickets: Adults £6, children go free
Absolute Bowie.
Friday 13th January at 8pm. Tickets: £18.50 advance and £21 doors Now in their 14th year of touring, the UKs ‘Best Tribute Band’ and ‘Best Bowie’ act, would like to come and meet you and they might just blow your mind. With an electrifying performance from the main Starman, and theatrical mid-set costume ch-ch-ch-anges, Absolute Bowie will take you on a musical journey through the greatest hits of David Bowie with their huge stage show. Performed by a world class five-piece band, this unique concert features two long sets and more costume changes than any other show.
Little Pickles Market.
Saturday 14th January from 10am to 12pm. Tickets: £1.50 (children go free) This will be the winter baby and children’s nearly new sale. Every market is unique and offers a great selection of items from prams to babygros, books to play gyms, bouncy chairs to wooden toys, toddler clothes to baby carriers, welly boots to swimwear, the list goes on and on. Bruce Juice – The Bruce Springsteen tribute band.
Friday 20th January at 7.30pm. Tickets: £15 advance Bruce Juice is bringing a range of unique features to live gigs in the UK. At several selected gigs, Bruce Juice will perform the whole album of either ‘Born to Run’ or ‘Wild & Innocent’, as the first half of the show. At various stages during 2023, the band will also feature the “Darkness ’78” tour, the “Born in the USA” album and “The River” album. In addition, Bruce Juice will also aim to perform for three hours live at every gig, aiming to deliver the full E Street experience for all Spring-Nuts / E Street Fans.
Ceilidh fundraiser for Frome’s missing link.
Friday 27th January at 7pm. Tickets: £15 advance Come whirling and birling to the authentic sound of The Bigger Little Biggar Band. Back by popular demand all the way from Scotland, these renowned traditional folk musicians will call all the dances so everyone can join in. To complete your evening, buy a supper ticket and enjoy Lungi Baba and Azeema’s South Indian/Sri Lankan cuisine. £15 for the ceilidh ticket, with £7.50 supper tickets available separately (plus standard booking charge).
Maniac Street Preachers vs StereoIronics.
Saturday 28th January at 8pm. Tickets: £16.50 advance Maniac Street Preachers and StereoIronics come to Frome for a double-bill of Welsh rock! Maniac Street Preachers are a four-piece Manic Street Preachers tribute band who uncannily imitate the sound, look and attitude of Wales’ finest rock n roll export. StereoIronics are The UK’s number 1 Stereophonics tribute band and have been recommended to many by The Stereophonics themselves.
