Local people are being invited to make or update their Will this autumn, with the full fee for a basic Will donated to a Frome cancer charity.
Through a new partnership with Goodwills Legal Services Ltd, the full amount paid for a basic Will can be donated to We Hear You (WHY).
WHY is a local charity providing free and low-cost counselling for children, young people and adults who have been affected or bereaved by cancer or other life-threatening conditions.
Previous Goodwills campaigns have raised more than £10,000 in total for WHY. This year, people can support the charity at no additional cost when booking an appointment with Goodwills by calling 01373 593193. A Standard Single Will costs £118 per person.
Goodwills Legal Services Ltd is a specialist legal services provider that has supported local families for many years. Its professional home visit service helps people with Wills, Home Protection Trusts, Lasting Powers of Attorney and a range of other related services.
Goodwills Senior Consultant for Frome, Bath, Somerset and Wiltshire, Michael Rhodes, said, “I have long been a supporter of We Hear You and the vital support the charity provides for local families affected or bereaved by cancer and other life-threatening conditions. Like We Hear You, Goodwills believes in offering an individual, caring and professional service and I am delighted that this campaign will help the charity each time someone uses our services.
