A SCHOOLBOY from Frome will be travelling to Spain this summer to play in a football tournament with Yeovil Academy u11s.
Ashton Allcot, aged 10 from Oakfield Academy, will travel to Barcelona this July. Whilst there, he will play in a match against Seville u11s, before going to watch champion team FC Barcelona play Seville FC.
Ashton said, “We will be flying to Spain and it will be the first time I have been abroad alone. I enjoy playing football in midfield positions.”
The school’s Dawn Warren said, “Everybody at the school wishes Ashton great success and we look forward to hearing all about it when he returns.”
