Frome Good Afternoon Choir will welcome the City of Bath Male Choir for a special joint concert next month as part of the Frome Festival’s 25th anniversary celebrations.
The concert will take place at Holy Trinity Church in Trinity Street, Frome on Friday 10th July at 7.30pm.
The City of Bath Male Choir arrive fresh from success at the Cornwall International Male Choral Festival, where they were named Overall Best Choir and Best UK Male Choir in the Category II competition at Truro Cathedral.
Frome Good Afternoon Choir is part of a network of 30 community choirs across the South West, Wales and London, involving around 1,000 singers. The Frome group rehearses on Monday afternoons from 2pm to 4pm at Trinity Hall under the direction of Matt Finch.
“This will be a very special concert with a mix of music to suit everyone,” said Good Afternoon Choir founder Grenville Jones. “It will be a great evening for Frome Good Afternoon Choir who very much look forward to welcoming the City of Bath Male Choir to entertain you with their award-winning sound.
