Frome photographer recognised with business award

A photographer from Frome has won an award recognising the success of her business.

Chloe Raeburn won the Best Photography Business award at the Prestige Awards for her business Chloe’s Forever Captures.

She attended a ceremony at Ashton Gate Stadium in Bristol to receive the award.

Chloe said, “It means a lot to win this award because this is my sole trade. It shows that people do actually appreciate what I do, even though I am small. I have come a long way from a shy photographer who was just doing this as a hobby.”

Chloe, who is neurodivergent, specialises in events, weddings, portraits, pets, local scenery and family moments.

She said winning the award was also recognition for other neurodivergent people running creative businesses.

“It can be hard for a neurodivergent artist to get themselves out there. I see the world differently. It made me feel like it was a win for neurodivergence as well,” she said.

Chloe was also runner-up last year in The Penn Berkeley Prize for her image ‘Mother’s Love’, which captured an intimate moment between a Frome mother and her young daughter.

The Prestige Awards recognise small and medium-sized businesses that have demonstrated excellence, innovation and customer service over the past 12 months.
