Book lovers will have the chance to browse thousands of discounted titles when The Frome Bookshop holds a four-day sale at Frome’s Silk Mill starting this weekend.
The sale will run from Sunday 8th November to Wednesday 11th November from 10am to 4pm each day.
“Expect thousands of books, heavily discounted, everything priced at £4 or three for £10,” said Peter Foster, one of the shop owners. “A great variety of local books will also be available at five for £10.
“We have been buying entire collections in the past year and realised that we can’t get everything out in the shop. Having a big sale and giving access to our hidden treasure trove of books made sense to us.
“As the days get shorter it will be a great time to stock up on good books and perhaps find some gifts. Most of the books haven’t made it to the shop yet and were originally priced between £10 and £50.”
Light refreshments and a seating area will be available, and visitors are asked to bring carrier bags. The Frome Bookshop will remain open throughout the event.
The Silk Mill is in Merchants Barton, Saxonvale, Frome.
