Young artists invited to design a Christmas Card for We Hear You

LOCAL counselling charity We Hear You is calling on children and young people in the area to enter their 2017 ‘Design a Christmas card’ competition.

The competition is aimed at children who live across Bath and North East Somerset, Somerset and Wiltshire. Entry categories are for children aged 9-12 and 13-16 years old. The winning design will be made into Christmas cards, which will be sold in the lead up to Christmas to help raise funds for WHY.

There will be a prize for the winning designs in each category. Gemma Wilkes, fundraising and communications manager at We Hear You said, “We’re really excited about launching our 2017 Design a Christmas card competition. We know there are some really talented young people in our local communities and we can’t wait to see what designs they come up with.

“It’s a great opportunity for any aspiring artist to see their work in print while supporting an excellent cause. Entries can be submitted to fundraising@wehearyou.org.uk or delivered to Gemma Wilkes, We Hear You, Frome Town Hall, Christchurch Street West, BA11 1EB and must be received by Saturday 7th October. Winners will be announced the following week.
