Frome’s Children’s Festival will be held on Sunday 8th July in Victoria Park and Mary Baily field, from 12noon to 6pm.
Organiser Sue Willis said, “The festival is free for everyone to attend and will offer a huge range of things for families to join in with, as well as fabulous entertainment. There will be sports, crafts, magic, music, theatre, graffiti and adventure.
“We are very excited about this year’s Children’s Festival. We have loads of great activities on offer including a climbing wall, powerchair football and medieval games. Our focus this year is on making sure that all children can get involved, whatever their needs and abilities – we have accessible sports and activities, and a quiet sensory area on offer.
“We are very lucky to have secured funding from the Big Lottery to enable us to include special activities that all children can access, plus support from the town council which enables us to deliver this amazing event. We look forward to welcoming old friends and new at the Park.”
The Children’s Festival is brought to you by Purple Elephant Productions and Young People Frome, with local sponsors Sydenhams, Azimuth Marquees and Asda. For more info visit Facebook – Frome Children’s Festival.
