Frome Selwood Tennis Club is holding another free open day on Sunday 12th August, at their courts, just off Somerset Road, next to the Mary Baily Playing Fields.
The day starts at 10.00am and will finish at 4.00pm. Activities are open to all ages and all levels of player, from beginner onwards.
They will include mini tennis; free play; family time and adult coaching. There will be refreshments available throughout the day, and a barbecue at lunchtime.
“We had such a great response to our May event with over 100 people joining us for the day, that we are hopeful that even more people can discover the enjoyment of tennis at our August fun day,” said Mark Brierley, chairman of the tennis club. “Either come to the club and register on the day or book in advance online via https://clubspark.lta.org.uk/OpenDays. “If you don’t have a tennis racquet, we will have some club racquets available for use. We will also be offering a month’s free trial membership for adults interested in joining our club.”
