THE Somerset Arms at Maiden Bradley is hosting a traction engine and vintage vehicle rally on Sunday 24th March from 10am until 6pm.
The event was inspired by an idea from one of the pub’s regular customers, Simon Wager, who is a member of TIME – The Itinerant Model Engineers, The local group will be displaying work they have built themselves or collected at the event.
Simon said, “On display will be a number of things including 20 scale model steam locomotives, quarter scale traction engines, various static engines, several tractors, vintage cars, and motorcycles.
“There will also be a sales corner, selling collectables. Come and have a look at all the interesting steam-orientated vehicle and engines on display – it promises to be a great day out.”
The Somerset Arms will be open as normal on the day for food and drinks.
