Rain fall for Frome this August 2019 = 121 mm, or in the old £ = 4.76 inches.
It can be ascertained from the table of recorded statistics below that the Frome average over the past 18 years = 81 mm. So this August 2019 is well above that, with 47 mm of that precipitation arriving @ the end of the storm on p.m. 11/08/19, although it is believed that the village of Rode near to Frome did not receive that full amount!!
It has been the most recorded monthly rainfall since 2012 and third in the 18 year league table.

Highest daytime temperature = 29 Degrees C, recorded @ 15.00 hrs Sunday 25/08/19, with Saturday 24/08/19. 28 Degrees C . & Monday 26/08/19. 27 Degrees C were also recorded. It was the warmest late bank holiday I have recorded.
Lowest daytime temperature. = 14 Degrees C recorded @ 15.00 hrs 11/08/19. Highest night time temperature = 21 Degrees C, recorded during the night 24/25/08/19. Lowest N.T.T. = 13 Degrees C, recorded during the night 12/13/08/19. All temperatures were recorded from within a S.S. from two different thermometers.
It is worth noting that [1] the average daytime temperature @ 15.00 hrs August 2016 = 20.2 Degrees C. & average daytime temperature @15.00 hrs August 2017 = 18.3 Degrees C. & average daytime temperature @ 15.00 hrs August 2018 = 20.7 Degrees C. & average daytime temperature @ 15.00 hrs August 2019 = 20.6 Degrees C.
[2] Although 2019 was the warmest late August Bank Holiday I have recorded in Frome, the average monthly August daytime temperature being = 20.6 Degrees C which was 0.1 degrees C lower than 2018.!! This was consequential of the lowest daytime temperature and high recorded rainfall for the first 3/4 of this August 2019.
