Over 20 artists will be taking to the stage on Friday 15th November, to raise funds and awareness for Movember UK, a charity highlighting mental health and suicide awareness alongside prostate cancer and testicular cancer awareness.

The night includes performances from Chap-Hop legend ‘Mr. B The Gentleman Rhymer’ alongside Frome’s very own ukulele band ‘The Frukes’, comedy duo, ‘The Real Cheese makers’ and comedian ‘Jon Harvey’ the man behind the mask of ‘Lord Buckethead’ who ran against Theresa May in the 2017 general elections.

Throughout the evening local DJs will be taking to the stage to keep the dancefloor moving with ‘DJ Smileee J’, ‘DJ Jonny Bonny Tyler’ and ‘DJ Riky G.’

The event begins at 7.30pm and finishes at 1.00am. Tickets cost £8 in advance, with all profits going to Movember UK.

Mr. B Gentleman Rhymer has performed nearly every festival throughout the UK including Latitude, Boomtown Fair and Glastonbury. His blend of gentleman Hip-Hop has seen him receive millions of hits on youtube as well as being featured on BBC 6 Music.

Jon Harvey is an award-winning comedy writer, producer and performer who went viral when he took on Theresa May in the 2017 General Election in the guise of Lord Buckethead. His credits include Have I Got News For You, The Thick Of It and Last Week Tonight with John Oliver, and his satirical sitcom Lobby Land airs on BBC Radio 4.

The Frukes features members of Frome’s very popular Frome Ukulele Club. The toe-tapping singalong ensemble perform a string of hit songs and will be sure to have you smiling throughout. If you’re from Frome, you’ll be sure to recognise a few familiar faces in the lineup!

The Real Cheesemakers credit themselves as purveyors of nonsense, top-quality rubbish and the finest wallop of cods. Songs about cheese, trousers, unicorns, roundabouts and waaaay more. The comedy duo has recently opened shows for ‘Creed Bratton’, the star of the American ‘Office’ TV series. They’re also set to open a very special show for Goldie Lookin Chain in Bristol.

Tickets are available from www.seetickets.com – www.eventbrite.co.uk. You can find further details from www.facebook.com/gm3 music.
