“Jackdaws ‘Christmas by Candlelight’ has become a firm favourite in the festive calendar, and once again, there will be a feast of musical delights in store for the annual concert.
Taking place this year on Wednesday 18th December at 6.30pm, in the beautiful Church of St Mary Magdalene at Great Elm, near Frome, the church will be dressed for Christmas and glowing with candlelight, providing a perfect setting for an evening of wonderful music.
The concert will feature performances by many members of the Jackdaws family, including Artistic director Saffron van Zwanenberg, special guest baritone, Owain Browne, Jackdaws Songbirds, Jack’s Music Club and special guests, with much-loved Jackdaws accompanist and supporter, Colin Hunt at the piano, all brought together in this joyful seasonal celebration.
Join in with traditional Christmas carols, to help get you in the festive mood, as the programme also includes some favourites for all to sing, and enjoy some seasonal refreshments of mulled wine and mince pies in the interval.
