LOCAL desserts company, Marston Foods, has won two accolades in this year’s Somerset Business Awards.
The company, which produces hand-made desserts, won the Large Business of the Year award and the Manufacturer & Producer of the Year award.
Sarah Green from Marston Foods said, “Wow, what a fantastic achievement! We’re over the moon with our two awards in the Somerset Chamber of Commerce Business Awards, and haven’t stopped smiling since the ceremony on Friday (26th March).
“My son James was the first to text me to say Congratulations, which made me a very proud mum & MD.
“As for all businesses, it’s been a challenging year, but our amazing team spirit has got us through it together. My team are dedicated, committed and brilliant and quite frankly we couldn’t have done any of this without them. We can’t thank them enough, every single one of them.
“The business fortunately is continuing to grow, thanks to the appetite for the delicious desserts that we make, and we’ll continue to look for experienced and passionate people to join our brilliant team, and in the meantime we will continue to enjoy the feeling of being double winners in these very prestigious awards!”
