TRIO Paradis will be hosting a special half-term concert at Christ Church, titled ‘Birds & Beasts’.
Organisers say, “The performance will be a musical menagerie, bringing to life cats, dogs, birds, fish and an elephant, with numbers from The Carnival of the Animals alongside Gershwin (Walking the Dog), Daquin’s Cuckoo and a couple of well-known songs from Disney films.
“The concert is on Thursday 2nd June at 1.45pm and lasts about 45 minutes. Entrance is free, no need to book. There is a retiring collection on a pay-what-you-feel basis. Pop-up cafe from 1.15pm. Bring the children for a half-term treat, plus bring a cushion if you like, as pews are quite hard.”
