THE Woodlanders, who produce an annual variety show, are for the very first time staging a show at the Frome Festival – called the Woodlanders Showcase!
The show is on the 2nd and 3rd of July at the East Woodlands Village Hall starting at 7.45pm. Tables and a cash bar will also be available. Tickets are available from the Frome Festival box office on 01373 455420.
Although The Woodlanders have been producing an annual show each autumn for 45 years and the Frome Festival has been in existence for 21 years, the two have never got together. This year, for the very first time, The Woodlanders will stage a show for the Frome Festival.
The organisers say that the show will be a traditional variety show in the spirit of the comedy greats, with a unique Frome twist – music, comedy dance and songs!
The Woodlanders chair, Sandra Gaisford, said, “We will, of course, be putting on our autumn show as usual from 4th – 7th October 2022 but we hope that lots of people will come to see the Festival Showcase and enjoy a lovely summer evening with us.”
