The queen of celebrity chefs, Nigella Lawson, is hosting a dinner party at the local boutique hotel, Babington House, to help raise funds for Positive Action on Cancer.
Not only will the domestic goddess be selecting the menu, she will also be interviewed by Desert Island Discs host Kirsty Young.
The dinner is taking place on Monday 7th February and everyone is invited, with tickets available from Babington House.
Rosie Eliot, community events manager for Positive Action on Cancer said, ‘We are all really excited about this fantastic dinner party. Babington House is normally open to private members only but because they are fundraising for a local charity, it is open to members of the public for this event.
“Nick Jones, who is the owner of Babington House, is a patron for PAC and he supports us in whatever way he can. It is going to be a wonderful evening with incredible food and to have dinner with Nigella and Kirsty will be a memorable occasion.”
Positive Action on Cancer offers free professional counselling to people affected by cancer and other life threatening illness. This support helps the emotional suffering of patients, their families and carers and those who have been bereaved to enable them to live the best quality of life possible.
