TWO local Accountancy and Bookkeeping firms have joined forces to offer a more comprehensive service for their current clients, and hopefully attract new businesses to take advantage of their wide range of services.
JDM Accountancy Ltd formally in Stratton-on-the-Fosse, now based in Chantry, has merged with Frome based Bookkeeping & Accountancy firm Linham Bookkeeping, to offer an extended bookkeeping and accountancy service.
Director of JDM Accountancy Ltd, Jayne Mulligan said, “Whether you are a start up, sole trader or a multi-million pound company, we will continue to offer our exceptional and personal service in all areas of business accounting, including company incorporation, management accounts, bookkeeping, payroll, VAT returns and statutory accounts. We can also offer support with MTD and implementation and training on cloud based software including Xero.
“Merging with Linham Bookkeeping is a great opportunity for us to provide all around financial services to businesses to avoid them having to engage numerous different advisors.
“The Businesses will continue to operate from both offices, ensuring Frome clients will not be affected by the merger. We understand how important location is to some clients who enjoy the convenience of being able to pop into somewhere local and see a friendly face. We would like to reassure clients that the team in Frome will remain the same and will be complemented by new faces from the JDM Office.

On Wednesday 8th May, the two firms joined together for a networking event to celebrate the launch of the merger at The Archangel in Frome. The team are planning to continue to provide events where interested businesses can come and learn about the services they provide, meet the team, and join them for refreshments.
