SINGER/songwriter Carrie Tree will be playing at Frome’s Cheese and Grain this weekend.
Carrie will be playing the acoustic session with support from James Watts on Sunday 18th December, in an event organised by Frome Creative Collective and Angelfish Live.
The relaxed event will be an intimate show before Carrie takes her new songs into the studio to record her next album.
Promoter Daniel Dobbie says, “Carrie touches a deep place in listeners with her thoughtful lyrics and soulful melodies, creating an intimate setting which opens hearts and brings people closer together.
“Carrie has toured and collaborated with a range of great musicians such as Damien Rice, Fink, Albert Mazibuko from Ladysmith Black Mambazo, Andy Barlow from Lamb, Martha Tilston, and even rock band Marillion!”
James Watts will start at 7.30pm, followed by Carrie at 9pm. Tickets £7, available from www.cheeseandgrain.com or 455420.
