LOCAL people are being asked to upload a photograph of an eye to be used in an art exhibition in Frome.
People are being invited to upload a close up photograph of a left or right eye to be used as part of an art exhibition, ISIS • HORUS • OSIRIS, taking place at the Silk Mill over the weekend of 11-12th February, 2017.
The submitted photographs will be used by visual artist Andrew Shackleton to create a large-scale printed composition and a triptych video installation invoking the ancient Egyptian Gods.
Submissions will close once the 104th eye has been submitted, or on the 20th January 2017.
Participants will be able to take a resulting framed piece of artwork, using their eye, home at the end of the exhibition.
