OPEN auditions will be held soon for a Frome theatre’s youth production of Les Miserables.
Tri.Art Theatre School will run its summer school at the Merlin Theatre in August and put together a performance of Victor Hugo’s classic story.
Auditions will be held on Sunday 2nd April from midday and students aged 12 to 19 are invited to take part. Each auditionee will be required to pay a £50 deposit to secure a place if successful.
Director Claudia Pepler says, “Our auditions are held in a workshop style and no prior learning of lines or dances is required.
“You will have plenty of time to rehearse audition pieces within the workshop and our friendly team is on hand to help you feel comfortable and confident in auditioning. It will help you to be familiar with the song lyrics and character profile prior to auditioning if you are intending on auditioning for a character role.”
Auditions will start at 11.45am and run until 2pm or 4pm for main characters.
