FROME Drama are holding open auditions dates for their first ever Zoom-based production, Terminus, on Thursday 1st October.
The group report, “Written by local playwrights, Al Brunker and John Palmer, the contemporary action takes place on and around the 9:30 train from London to Norwich. The increasing scary plot, the nature and back stories of each of the 10 characters and the interconnections between them are revealed as the play accelerates to a violent conclusion.
“This is a talking heads play, none of the scene characters ever talks directly to another. Performed as a series of inter-linking monologues, it’s a puzzle of a piece, with lots of scope for the actors taking part, and ideal for a Zoom production. John Palmer will direct and auditions and rehearsals will mostly be on Zoom.
“The cast is made up of five male and five female parts, so plenty of opportunity.”
