The next Frome Poetry Cafe, which will present two award-winning poets, will be held on Monday April 24th.
Crysse Morrison said, “Our guests that night are two award-winning poets; Lindsay Clarke whose novels are hugely acclaimed and has now published a poetry collection, ‘A Dance with Hermes’, using the Greek messenger god to take a fresh look at classical myths with a mix of wit, mischief, and ancient wisdom.
“Also reading will be Matt Duggan, who won the prestigious Erbacce prize with his first book of poems, now launching his second collection Metropolis.
“As well as a chance to hear and meet two acclaimed published poets, there will be the usual open-mic with all themes welcomed.”
Starting promptly at 7.30pm on Monday 24th April, entry is £2 on the door, with snacks and drinks and books available to buy.
