FROME College have congratulated their Year 9 and 10 food and nutrition students who were challenged to a “Fine Dining Beans Competition”.
The college report, “They were tasked with plating up baked beans and toast in a professional and imaginative way.
“Mrs McMunn, subject leader in design technology, is donating the prize to the winner of their own height in tins of baked beans for the Frome Food Bank, and the standards were extremely high!
“The results are in: –
1st place: Gil Privett in Year 9 for his brilliant swans which are very skilled and apt for Valentine’s Day.
2nd place: Ashleigh Gahagan in Year 9 for his butterfly beans on toast.
3rd place: Cameron Vince in Year 9 for his professional and well thought out presentation.
“We are delighted with the effort and enthusiasm shown by them all – well done everyone!”
