FROME Festival has announced its opening headline act for this year as British rock band, The Coral, playing at The Cheese and Grain on Monday 8th July.
Since their debut EP release in 2001 The Coral have sold over a million UK albums, with five reaching the Top 10 including 2003s chart-topping ‘Magic and Medicine’. Their eight Top 40 singles include ‘Dreaming Of You’, ‘In The Morning’, ‘Pass It On’, and ‘Don’t Think You’re The First’.
They have 9 studio albums and have performed 8 tours across the UK. They have also supported acts such as Blur during their Think Tank Tour in October 2003. Oasis during their Don’t Believe the Truth Tour in 2005 and Arctic Monkeys’ Favourite Worst Nightmare Tour in July 2007.
