The Frome Business Breakfast in March will focus on the micro-enterprises of Frome and will be held at The Cheese and Grain on Tuesday 7th March.
Beginning at 7am, Jean Boulton and Peter Wheelhouse will lead this session with a look at how the micro-enterprise sector has gained strength in Frome and will be followed by a workshop on how the development of local micro-enterprises can be supported in the future.
Peter Wheelhouse, economic development and regeneration manager, and deputy town clerk for the town council said, “Micro-enterprises employ less than 10 people and are the life blood of Frome’s economy as they represent most employers in Frome.
“All sectors are represented – from high tech engineering and IT businesses through to plumbers and other trades. At the next business breakfast meeting, we will be focusing on the growth of these smaller employers and what they need to grow further. This will help the town council and the Chamber to target our future investment in Frome’s economy.”
Organised by Frome and District Chamber of Commerce, Frome Town Council, and AM Personnel’s Mairi Connelly, the Frome Business Breakfast events are open to all local businesses and community enterprises and are a great opportunity to meet with other local businesses.
The event costs £10 per person with the breakfast included in the price. Dietary options are available upon request, prior to the event.
